A National Campaign for Palliative and Home Care: Against Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide

Following the adoption of the Law concerning end of life care by the Quebec National Assembly (June 5, 2014), and considering the on-going efforts of pro-euthanasia forces across Canada, all citizens respectful of life from conception to natural death are called to support more seriously the vulnerable and to engage decisively  in the public debate.

With the support of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), the Catholic Organization for Life and Family (COLF) is launching a National Campaign for Palliative and Home Care, and Against Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide, inviting all people of good will to answer Christ’s plea: “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me” (Matt. 25:40).

The following resources are simple and concrete. Their aim is to help families, friends, parishes, etc. reflect on these very delicate issues.
