A National Campaign for Palliative and Home Care: Against Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide
What Can I Do?
- Get a better understanding of euthanasia, assisted suicide, and palliative and home care.
- Visit the vulnerable people in your circle of acquaintances (the lonely, depressed, elderly, ill, dying).
- Financially support organizations committed to countering euthanasia and assisted suicide, and to promoting palliative and home care.
- Contact your Member of Parliament or elected member of your provincial legislative assembly to share your opinion and ask him or her to oppose any attempt to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide. You can find your MP’s name and contact information here.
- Sign petitions reflecting your point of view. For example, click here. Or click here.
- Write a letter to the editor or use social media. Just a few words or a few lines are needed to express your concern regarding these lethal practices and your wish to see an expansion of palliative care.
